Opening and Maintaining Your Account

You must be over 18 years of age to register and to place an entry on this site. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age from any Customer and customer accounts may be suspended until satisfactory proof of age is provided.

Opening of accounts, entry processing or financial transactions will not be accepted from individuals residing in USA, its territories or possessions. Only players with a UK registered credit or debit card will be allowed to place a bet or entry on this site. It is the responsibility of each individual customer to ensure that they comply completely with their own local, national or state laws concerning betting, prior to them registering with Vernons or before placing an entry.

Customers are asked to ensure that the details provided at registration (for example address, telephone number, E-Mail, etc) are kept up-to-date, so Vernons can contact you when you win. You can access and amend your own individual account information by clicking on "Communication Preferences" in the "Your Account" area of the site.

When opening an account each customer is requested to choose his or her own user name and password. Customers are asked to ensure that these details are kept private, as customers are responsible for all entries accepted on their account, where the correct security information has been provided, dependent only on the current balance of the account.

If you forget your username and/or password, or if you are concerned that a third party is aware of them, click on the "Forgotten Your Password" link on the login page and follow the instructions so that new security details can be allocated to you. These new details then will be E-Mailed to you.

The minimum account deposit is £10 UK sterling and you can only place entries up to the amount available within your account. Customers' money will be held in a separate Vernons Trust Account and will only be applied to Bets or Entries into Vernons Games on the expressed instructions of the Customer, or be returned to the Customer on demand.

No interest will be paid by Vernons to any Customer and any interest earned by Vernons on the Trust Account (if any) will be paid to a Charity of Vernons choice, details of which can be obtained from Vernons.

Depositing Money

For your benefit, Vernons have opened a "Vernons Trust Account" from which any and all interest earned will be paid to a charity of Vernons' choice, details of which can be obtained from Vernons.

By registering, a customer is deemed to have fully accepted and understood all rules, terms and conditions published on this website.

Withdrawing Your Winnings

Vernons check every entry to every game and will notify you by e-mail every time you win, so there is no need to check your entry if you do not want to. Any winnings of over £501.00 will be notified by e-mail but sent to you via a cheque within 7 working days. You can withdraw up to £2000 (or equivalent) per day from your Internet account.

To withdraw funds, click on the 'Your Account' button, then click on Withdraw link and enter how much you would like to withdraw. The funds will then be sent back to the card you have registered with us to be processed by your bank.

If you receive an message saying that you cannot withdraw funds because you are suspended, we may be checking your account to ensure you are over 18. Please contact customer services on help@vernons.co.uk or phone 0800 993 995 for assistance.

To withdraw in excess of £2000 (or equivalent), or if you experience difficulty in making an online withdrawal, please contact Customer Services on 0800 834549 in order to discuss alternative methods of payment.

Funds previously deposited by debit or credit card will be returned to the same card. This procedure is completed by you automatically whilst online. The Vernons website will guide you through the simple procedure of entering the required amount in the box provided, confirming your password and clicking on "WITHDRAW".

Normal bank clearing arrangements apply. Some banks may also impose their own charges for receiving and sending funds, which we are unable to cover. Please check with your bank for details. Please note that winnings are paid in UK Sterling.
